Flatwater Kayak / & Canoe: Join the Cascade Head Biosphere Collaborative for a paddle in the moonlight on the Salmon River. Bring your own kayak or canoe, Paddle, PFD, light, and your whistle and set off from Knight Park for an 1 1/2 hour paddle in the moonlit (clouds permitting) estuary.  

Fee: $25 per person

This is a Bring your own...Event.  Basic requirements include:

• Kayak/Canoe

• Paddle

• PFD (Personal Floatation Device)

• Whistle (signaling device)

• Light (Headlamp)

• Non-cotton, Appropriate Apparel (Always dress for the water temperature which is cold.

• Other Safety Equipment: Bilge Pump or Bailer, throw rope, float bags.

• Waterway Access and Aquatic Invasive Species Permit (10' or longer boats)
