Featured artist Josie Iselin the Elakha Alliance, and volunteer rakers will be creating 100 yard long sand art depicting bull kelp and sea otter. Information will be shared with the public revealing the interdependence of these two species and an effort to re-introduce sea otter to the Oregon Coast.
Event takes place out in front of Chinook Winds Casino Resort and will last until the tide washes the sands away. Also there will be space for the public to come and make their own art in the sand!
